The most important and necessary document for air travel is the air ticket. Carefully check the data correctness at time of reservation: passenger’s First and Last name, date and time of flight, flight number and carriage conditions.
Identity cards needed for the flight through Ukraine:
- For adult passengers – a civil passport
- For children – a birth certificate
Documents required for international flights:
- For adult passengers – a foreign passport
- Visas of the countries: the destination and transfer point, if required
- For children – their own foreign passport or a special mark in the foreign passport of a parent
- For children accompanied by one parent – a notarized consent of the other parent to travel for a child abroad (even if the parents are divorced)
- For unaccompanied children there must be a notarized consent of both parents to travel for a child abroad
- For children travelling abroad with one or both parents it may be required the proof of kinship between the child and the accompanying. The same last name of a child and parents is not sufficient evidence.
Special categories of passengers and luggage:
- For certain categories of passengers with an official passport can be replaced with: official, diplomatic, seafarer’s passport, etc.
- Medical certificate of the approved form for sick passengers
- Prenatal record, as well as medical certificate for pregnant women
- Certification of all required immunizations when travelling to certain countries of Africa, Asia and South America
- When transporting animals: veterinary passport stamped with all immunizations required. In some countries, there are more stringent rules for animals import, check them in embassies and consulates. It is required to inform of the desire to transfer a pet when booking air tickets because the airline company may not give permission
- When transporting authorized firearms and ammunition, it is required special documents certifying the right to its possession and use
Benefits and bonuses:
- For passengers who purchase air tickets using their benefits, it is necessary to present documents proving the right to benefits: ISIC, ITIC, IYTC cards, student ID card, pension certificate etc.

We recommend to pay particular attention to the validity and accuracy of documents. The validity period should not expire earlier than 1 month after the return flight date. Only the passenger is responsible for the documents completion and compliance with all laws. It concerns the execution of all possible formalities: passport, customs, sanitary, rules and regulations of an airline carrier.
Passengers with the expired and improperly completed documents are not allowed to land!
Passengers not allowed to the flight by the airline company, employees of the passport or customs control, execute the air ticket return on the rights of passengers voluntarily refusing from the flight. Herewith, the losses will be maximum, taking into account all the restrictions and penalties for this category of air tickets.
