During 2010 we provided more than 50 trainings in all regions of Ukraine. – Some experts consider that online solutions “loosen” discipline of air ticket offices work. To what extent do you agree with this opinion?
– In the work with agents, we build work with the minimum risks for the client. The client receives full and reliable information concerning availability, cost and fare rules. And also he/she chooses the most convenient form of communication, payments and deliveries. As for a ticketing, it is carried out only at our IATA-accredited office with verification of all data provided by the agent. Concerns about poor quality of service provision on sale of air tickets online are somewhat exaggerated.
– What difficulties do you have when selling air tickets online?
– There are difficulties, of course. First, it is a dumping. Both from competitors, and from airlines. Incorrect granting net prices on the airline website to the client leads to the fact that work of the agent is to free inform on flight options. Secondly, it is high risk of fraud in the sphere of electronic commerce. Therefore, we advise to buy air tickets online at the checked agencies.
– And still, what is a key of success for you in online sales of air tickets?
